AWMC is seeking a highly motivated candidate to undertake a PhD within the ARC Discovery Project “Sustainable production of chemicals and fuels from carbon dioxide”. This project aims to deliver a cost-effective bioelectrochemical process converting carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions into chemicals and fuels. The successful candidate will work extensively in AWMC laboratories, but will also undertake desktop work under the guidance of a multidisciplinary advisory team.
Candidates should have an undergraduate degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, B. Biotech (Hons), Microbiology (Hons) or other related disciplines; international candidates will be considered if they have attained a research Master degree and they have at least two published journal papers as first authors.
