The Maastricht University School of Business and Economics (SBE) offers one scholarship for its three-year bachelor’s programmes to talented students from international schools with the interest to expand their global education. The scholarship is available to students with (only) a non-EU/EEA nationality.

Eligibility
If you wish to apply for the SBE International School Scholarship, there are several requirements.
You must:
Be accepted to a SBE bachelor’s programme:
BSc International Business: admission through the decentralised selection procedure;
BSc Economics and Business Economics: admission through the decentralised selection procedure;
BSc Econometrics and Operations Research: admission through the regular admission procedure.
Not be older than 35 years at the start of the academic year (1 September 2016);
Have an overall GPA of at least 70%;
Obtain your secondary school diploma at a Council of International Schools member international school. Please note: only students from a CIS accredited school can apply, check the following link to find out if your school is enlisted.

Maastricht University aims to further strengthen our position as a leading European university offering high-quality education with an international orientation. To this end, we implements a pro-active recruitment policy for international students, in particular for the Master’s programmes. Scholarships are made available by the Maastricht University Scholarship Fund in order to encourage talented students from outside the EU/EEA to follow a Master’s programme at our university. One of these scholarships is the Maastricht University High Potential scholarship.

You must be admissible for a master’s programme or graduate programme for professionals at Maastricht University and not be older than 35 years at the start of the academic year. You may apply simultaneously for a master’s programme and this scholarship. Please note: there is NO UM High Potential Scholarship available for studying at the School of Business and Economics!

As an applicant you must have obtained excellent results in your previous studies. This must be shown in the application file by including for example grade lists or reference letters. In case of equivalent qualification we will give preference to applications which show that the applicant is among the top 5%.
